White → Blue: No longer panic in bad positions. Know at least one escape from every major position. Can consistently tap brand new people. Controlled breathing during rolls.
Blue → Purple: No major holes lower belts can exploit. Flow between attacks without thinking. Create dilemmas rather than forcing single techniques. Can analyze why techniques work/fail.
Purple → Brown: A-game works on black belts. Can teach and troubleshoot for lower belts. Apply pressure and control pace. Multiple game plans depending on opponent.
